Christopher Plummer and Video Games
Christopher Plummer’s first appearances in video games saw him reprising roles he had played in other mediums. In 2000 he appeared in Star Trek: Klingon Academy, reprising his role as General Chang from the 1991 film Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
2009 saw him reprise his role as Charles Muntz in the video game adaptation of the Pixar hit Up.
In 2011 though we got to see Christopher as one of the greybeard elders in The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim as he took on the role of Arngeir. It was a wonderful performance in a game that many consider one of the best RPGs of all time.
That wouldn’t be his last connection to the world of video games though. In 2017 he performed in the short film Elegy. A visual poem for the first-person survival game The Long Dark.
No matter the medium Christopher Plummer always brought his best to a role. Our condolences go out to him and his family.
