Streamer Is Walking The Entirety Of Death Stranding On A Treadmill

Kojima Production’s Death Stranding is well and truly here, and although it’s definitely one of the most divisive games of the year (if not the decade), players are definitely having fun with it.

Although it’s a helluva ride on its own, Twitch streamer and Death Stranding fan, AdmiralBahroo, has decided to make his playthrough of the game a little more intense: by walking the entirety of it on a treadmill while he plays.

In a video, which you can watch below, AdmiralBahroo tells his stream: “If you notice in the top righthand corner there’s a webcam. Hi. I’m actually walking on a treadmill. I put a treadmill in front of my desk and I’m walking the entirety of Death Stranding. I’m going to walk the whole damn thing. The entire thing.”

Honestly, I think Kojima would approve.

Going into more detail on Twitter, the streamer writes of the experiment: “So I heard that Death Stranding is one giant walking / delivering simulator.

“So I bought a treadmill and I am gunna walk the entire game in-game and IRL. See you all in 1 hour as I die live on stream.

“This takes the cake on one of my worst ideas.”

WiiFit can take a seat, because this could be the future of fitness and gaming.

Death Stranding’s official description reads: “In the near future, mysterious explosions have rocked the planet, setting off a series of supernatural events known as the Death Stranding. With spectral creatures plaguing the landscape, and the planet on the verge of a mass extinction, it’s up to Sam Bridges to journey across the ravaged wasteland and save mankind from impending annihilation.

“After the collapse of civilization, Sam Bridges must journey across a ravaged landscape crawling with otherworldly threats to save mankind from the brink of extinction. From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes an all-new, genre-defying experience for the PlayStation®4 system.”

Death Stranding is available now on PlayStation 4. It’s coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2020.
