Cowboy Bebop’s Ein The Dog Is The Goodest Boy, Deserves Lots Of Pats

Cats may once have been the dominant species of the internet but it’s pretty clear by now that dogs are the superior good boys of the world (and yes, even the girls are good boys, fight me).

From helping to make spooky noises in video games, to representing some of the best characters in anime, there’s basically nothing that dogs can’t do at this point.

The latest four-legged wonder to steal our hearts comes courtesy of Netflix, who just introduced the world to Ein, the goodest boy on the set of the live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop.

In a short video uploaded to their social channels, presumably by Ein himself, Netflix writes: “Really hoping the entire season of Cowboy Bebop is shot in Corgi-Vision.”

If you’re not a Cowboy Bebop fan then you’re probably a bit confused right now, but prepare yourself because Ein might be one of the best reasons to get hyped for the upcoming Netflix series.

Ein is a genetically modificied corgi, and he plays a core role in the anime. Ein boasts incredible human intellect, amazing powers of deduction and a wiggly jiggly fluff butt.

From the looks of things, Netflix has chosen to honour Ein’s best self by opting for an IRL doggo instead of a CGI one (thank you, Netflix!)

Unfortunately there’s not yet an Academy Award category for dogs, but let’s hope Ein can turn some heads when Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop lands.

Until then, we’ll have to make do with corgi updates from Netflix, but at least we have 343 Industries’ Gyoza the Pug’s Instagram.

Cowboy Bebop’s live-action series has yet to get a release date from Netflix, but let’s assume it’s still a few months away from our screens at the very least. It’s okay, I’ll wait.
