Cyberpunk 2077 was one of 2020’s most anticipated games. It had a rocky launch but the recent announcement from CD Projekt Red highlighted a clear roadmap, that includes some all important patches. Patches are important in improving games and the first one is due to drop in the coming weeks.
If the roadmap has left you wondering “where’s the best place to buy Cyberpunk 2077?” then we’ve got good news for you. This weekend on the GameByte Shop we’re giving you the opportunity to pick up the game for under 40 quid! If you’ve been waiting for a price drop as well as updates before diving into Night City then that’s no doubt music to your ears.
Both Xbox One and PS4 versions currently work on new-gen consoles. When the PS5 and Xbox Series X updates happen it has been confirmed that last-gen versions will be upgradeable for free too!
The official game description of Cyberpunk 2077 describes it as “an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.”
