CD Projekt Red’s upcoming title Cyberpunk 2077 already has legions of fans based on its gameplay reveal from last year, despite us not even knowing when the game will release.
The title, which comes from the same company behind the iconic The Witcher 3, is an RPG set in a dystopian future and it’s looks absolutely flawless.
One of the reasons it looks so smooth from what we seen is down to the development team, which has been revealed as being nearly twice the size of the team who worked on The Witcher 3.
According to online publication Stockwatch.pl, [via WCCF Tech] there’s over 400 people working on Cyberpunk 2077, which is almost double the size of the 250-strong team who completed work on The Witcher 3.
When’s cyberpunk 2077 releasing? Game went under the radar after the trailer

If you’re hoping a bigger team means the game is coming sooner rather than later, you might be disappointed. Unlike The Witcher 3, nothing in Cyberpunk is procedurally generated according to the game’s animator, Maciej Pietras.
Pietras said: “To compare [Cyberpunk 2077] to The Witcher 3, let’s say that the world of the latter was very vast in its length.
“It was an open world made of very large natural landscapes. Going from point A to point B took a lot of time, because you were riding, but also because it was a game that stretched horizontally.”
I’m soooooooooooooo soooooooooooooooo hyped for Cyberpunk 2077

In Cyberpunk everything is apparently being done by hand [via Express], so we might actually have a long time to wait. But hey, perfection can’t be achieved overnight!
Are you planning on buying Cyberpunk 2077 whenever it finally launches?
