Cyberpunk 2077 Modders Have Made Unreleased Quests Playable

A group of Cyberpunk 2077 modders has managed to make various unreleased quests playable in-game, according to Eurogamer.

While many Cyberpunk fans have been waiting with bated breath for official updates, some are taking matters into their own hands. As a result, Cyberpunk 2077 modders have managed to make some of the game’s unreleased content playable. This includes content demoed at E3 2018, featuring the character V.

Thanks to the efforts of modders like romulus_is_here, players can now play the game’s gig quests without having to go into debug mode. Dubbed Cut Gigs Save Game, the mod enables players to play four previously unreleased missions.  Of course, two of the missions are a little temperamental, with missing dialogue and somewhat glitchy performance. However, the other two missions provide a stable experience, such as the previously discovered Concrete Cage Trap mission.

As mentioned above, the modding community is also interested in restoring the game’s E3 2018 content. This largely revolves around restoring the male and female versions of V, as shown in previous demos and trailers. The likes of the E3 V mod restores the game’s original 2018 character assets, which includes mesh and texture. The result is a version of V that closely matches the original playable character.

While diving into Cyberpunk’s files has made more content playable, it has also lead to the discovery of significant file names. The file related information has inadvertently provided some insight into the game’s development process, which includes unreleased quests and characters. Of course, reading up on the significance of these files is sure to come with spoilers, as they mostly relate to plot-related parts of the game. However, we’ve got you covered if you want to take the risk. Information is available on the likes of r/LowSodiumCyberpunk.
