Cyberpunk 2077’s Character Creation Can Change Up The Gameplay

CD Projekt Red’s upcoming RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, is going to be a massive game so there’s absolutely going to be a lot to unpack on the journey to its release.

Thankfully, the developers are being pretty loose-lipped with what we can expect from Cyberpunk, which is great because I honestly don’t know how we’re all going to last until its launch.

Over on Twitter, Cyberpunk‘s quest designer Mateusz Tomazkiewicz has gone into some exciting detail about the game – more specifically, character creation in the game.

In a video, which you can watch in the tweet below, Tomazkiewicz explains that you’ll have access to various skills when you’re creating your protagonist, who goes by the name V.

Each of the skills offer something pretty different, with the ability to change up things like dialogue options, in-game decisions, and your general combat approach.

Interestingly, you won’t be locked in to your choices either, and they can be edited after you’ve made your V.

Cyberpunk 2077 is described as follows: “An open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification.

“You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.”
