Death Stranding Director’s Cut PC Version Revealed With Release Date

Death Stranding Director’s Cut arrives for PC this March. Furthermore, the upgrade path to the Director’s Cut has been detailed.

When does the Director’s Cut arrive on PC?

Kojima Productions and 505 Games have announced that the Director’s Cut will arrive on PC from March 30th. It will be available via Steam as well as the Epic Games Store.

How much will the upgrade cost?

If you already own the original Death Stranding on PC it will cost you just £8.99/$9.99 to upgrade to the Director’s Cut. The Director’s Cut includes new story missions, improved gameplay bonus DLC, and more. Additionally, on PC, you will also benefit from an uncapped framerate and ultrawide monitor support.

What if I don’t already own Death Stranding?

If you don’t already own the original Death Stranding on PC, you can pick up the Director’s Cut for an RRP of £34.99. However, the original Death Stranding is currently discounted via the Steam Lunar Sale with a whopping 70% discount.

At the time of writing Death Stranding on PC costs just £16.49. This means if you buy the game now and then upgrade later, the Director’s Cut will cost just £25.48. However, the Steam Lunar Sale ends on February 3rd, so you’ll need to get in there quickly.
