Demake Shows What Bloodborne Would Look Like On PS1

Someone has created a fantastic demake of FromSoftware’s Bloodborne, showing off what the PS4 classic could look like if it had been made for PS1.

Bloodborne PSX, which appears to be in its early stages of development. already looks like it was taken from the PlayStation era of the 1990s, which is its purpose after all.

While the environments of Bloodborne PSX are currently lacking (which will no doubt be added at a later date), the animations of the playable Hunter in particular look top notch.

The visceral attacks already look well-animated considering the software limitations, and judging by the Twitter thread, further improvements are being made to the gameplay balancing.

The Bloodborne demake is being created by Lilith Walther with the aid of a friend, and so far the demake looks to be improving by the day.

In the last year or so we’ve seen some brilliant demakes including Cyberpunk 2077 (which probably runs better then the main game) as well as Death Stranding and The Last of Us Part 2 (as seen below).

Personally I can’t wait to see how Lilith Walther’s demake of Bloodborne progresses in the coming months.

However, seeing all these demakes, especially for Bloodborne, it kinda makes me wish that FromSoftware or even Bluepoint Games would remake Tenchu, the PS1 stealth game from the Soulsborne developers. Although we did get Sekiro in all fairness!

Are there any classic PS1 games you’d love to see receive the demake treatment or perhaps you know of others already made? Let us know across our social media channels.
