Don’t Expect To See Mass Effect Or Dragon Age at EA Play Live

If you wanted to see gameplay for the new Mass Effect or Dragon Age, don’t expect to see any of those titles featured at EA Play Live.

Electronic Arts EA Play Live takes place on July 22nd, and many fans were hoping to see something for the new Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

We want more!

During The Game Awards in December 2020, we were treated to our first proper Dragon Age trailer.  We also got to see the first trailer for the new Mass Effect. Albeit, both trailers were cinematic with no gameplay. That said, it was certainly enough to excite fans.

Seven months later, fans hoped that BioWare would have something more to show off for both games, but sadly that won’t be the case.

We won’t get more!

The news of the Dragon Age and Mass Effect no-showing at EA Play Live was confirmed on the official BioWare Twitter account:

We’re hard at work creating the next Dragon Age and Mass Effect games and have some exciting stuff coming to Star Wars: The Old Republic this year. While we won’t be showing anything new at EA Play Live, be sure to check out our SWTOR Livestream at 12PM PT today for info on what’s to come!

So, there you have it, sadly there won’t be any Dragon Age or Mass Effect to showcase, but I guess we’ll see plenty of Battlefield 2042 and EA’s sports titles. Though if rumours are to be believed, we might be treated to a new Dead Space game!

Are you disappointed that we’ll see no gameplay for the new Dragon Age and Mass Effect? Let us know across our social media channels.
