Dying Light 2 Has Just Been Delayed On This Console…

Techland has announced that the cloud version of Dying Light 2 Stay Human for the Nintendo Switch has been delayed to a later, unspecified date.

The highly-anticipated zombie open-world shooter was originally meant for release on February 4, 2022. However, with less than a month to go before release, Techland has released a statement with the disappointing news.

Techland hopes that this delay will “provide fans with the gaming experience at the level they deserve and that Techland wants to provide”. Perhaps promising a game that takes more than 500 hours to fully complete is proving more challenging than initially anticipated?

This isn’t the first delay that Dying Light 2 fans have seen. Since its first reveal at E3 2018, the open-world shooter has seen several years of delays. However, we’re sure the game will be worth the wait! We’re especially excited, seeing as Techland recently promised “at least” five years of post-launch content.

It’s not all bad news though! Pencil in your time off for August 2022. because Techland aims to deliver Dying Light 2 to the Nintendo Switch within six months from the original date. Are you a PC, PlayStation or Xbox fan? Well you’re in luck! All other platform releases remain the same and are locked for February 4, 2022. With over 3,000,000 fans who have already added Dying Light 2 Stay Human to their wishlists on Steam, this will surely be a small victory.
