Electronic Arts is releasing a short movie that will tell the story of the locations featured in the upcoming Battlefield 2042.
Battlefield 2042 will feature no single player campaign and will be a multiplayer game only. This news has disappointed many fans because single player campaigns of the Battlefield series have mostly been fun.

So presumably with Battlefield 2042 featuring no single player campaign, surely that means that it will feature no story, right? Well apparently, that does not seem to be the case.
This week the official Battlefield Twitter account tweeted a short cinematic clip. The clip in question featured a brief glimpse of a large battleship, as well as on-land combat. The clip also featured audio dialogue saying: “The world wants to forget we exist. We will force them to see.”
The standalone short film Exodus premieres August 12, 8am PDT / 5pm CEST.
