Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon by FromSoftware and Bandai Namco was finally announced at The Game Awards last week.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is inbound!
Well, after ten long years since the release of Armored Core: Verdict Day in 2013, Fires of Rubicon is finally coming to PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Rejoice!
FromSoftware promises the mech gameplay that we know and loved over the 25 years of the series will be retained. However, the newest entry promises “groundbreaking gameplay found in the developer’s recent action games” as well as being a “unique entry in the mech action game genre.”
“In Armored Core 6 Fires Of Rubicon, players will be able to freely move through massive three-dimensional environments with rapid manoeuvrability while experiencing visceral vehicular combat,” reads the press release provided by Bandai Namco.
It continues: “Signature to FromSoftware’s carefully crafted game design, the game will feature challenging and memorable battles along with a fulfilling progression system and deep gameplay, all of it now powered by assembling mechs and going to combat with massive bosses.
“Players will recognize the sense of satisfaction and achievement when they overcome a difficult situation and relish the momentary victory, and perhaps a boost to their standing, before encountering the next challenge.”
When is the Armored Core 6 release date?
At this time, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon does not have a release date. However, the long-awaited arrival of the popular mech shooter is expected to be released in 2023. That being said, it’s worth keeping in mind that delays are always likely.
