Elden Ring player reaches maximum playtime

An Elden Ring player has spent so much time in the Lands Between, that they actually managed to hit the maximum playtime. Yikes!

Anyone that has played Elden Ring will know that this is the biggest game by FromSoftware yet. Some say it can take at least 60 hours to complete one playthrough. However, I’ve put in 150 hours and I’m pretty sure I’m only halfway through the game.

Elden Ring is huge!

My point is, that it doesn’t really matter how you choose to play Elden Ring, you can pretty much spend as much time as you want exploring its world. However, this player has taken time spent in its world to another level.

The player in question is Reddit user and Xbox One player, JayzRebellion15. This player has spent so much time playing Elden Ring, that the game has hit its 999:59:59 time limit. Furthermore, JayzRebellion15 is at level 648.

For the record, it’s worth mentioning that JayzRebellion15 is still able to play his save of Elden Ring, it’s just now got to the stage that the game’s internal clock refuses to budge.

Curious players on Reddit calculated that JayzRebellion15 has spent on average 7 hours and 35 minutes a day playing Elden Ring since it launched on February 25th, 2022.

In our review of Elden Ring, we said: “If Dark Souls was the earthquake, Elden Ring is the aftershock. In a sense, it’s more of a love letter to the Soulsborne fanbase, incorporating dramatic fragments of each past game into a single product that is rewarding and fulfilling.
