Following yesterday’s release date announcement, it has been revealed that Bayonetta 3 for Nintendo Switch has a nudity-censored mode.
In Bayonetta 3, you play as a sassy and sexy witch caught up in the age-old battle between heaven and hell. Armed with her trusty guns, Bayonetta can also manipulate time and summon demons to help defeat her sworn enemies.
Bayonetta is a badass!
Bayonetta’s outfit is made up of her long black hair and when she summons her powers, she gets naked. For the most part, Bayonetta fans understand that this weird nakedness is all part of her charm and of course powers, obviously. We get it, it’s who Bayonetta is.
However, you know that during the few seconds of her brief nakedness, a family member is bound to randomly walk into the living room just as that happens. Now we feel a little awkward, because to non-fans of the series, all they see is a naked lady posing on the TV.

Living room mode, activated!
So in an attempt to avoid that randomly generated awkwardness, developers PlatinumGames has implemented the “Naive Angel Mode” which means that Bayonetta will be pretty much fully clothed when she summons her powers.
“We’ve added the revolutionary “Naive Angel Mode” to Bayonetta 3 so more people can fully enjoy it,” tweeted PlatinumGames. “By turning it on, you can play in the living room without worrying about what’s on-screen… we think.”
Relax, the witch is back and sexier than ever?
