The game, which sees up to 60 online players compete against each other through a series of wacky levels, is one of the best takes on the Battle Royale genre imaginable and it’s now set to get the esports treatment.

The official Twitter account for Twitch Rivals responded to players’ calls for Fall Guys to get even more competitive, and it’s good news!

“So, we keep hearing about this game… And people keep asking ‘Twitch Rivals when?’ So… we’re making it a thing. Twitch Rivals @FallGuysGame. Happening soon,” tweeted the account.

Keep your eyes glued to Twitch’s esports channels, because things are about to get crazy!

If you haven’t yet given Fall Guys a whirl, it’s definitely worth your time. The game, which is available on Steam and PlayStation 4, broke the internet when it became one of this month’s PlayStation Plus “free” games. The game’s servers struggled massively as an eye-watering 1.5 million new players dove into the fun in just 24 hours. Thankfully, things are running smoothly again and it’s now the best time to get stuck into the action.

Fall Guys’ official description reads: “Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout flings hordes of contestants together online in a mad dash through round after round of escalating chaos until one victor remains! Battle bizarre obstacles, shove through unruly competitors, and overcome the unbending laws of physics as you stumble towards greatness. Leave your dignity at the door and prepare for hilarious failure in your quest to claim the crown!
