The fifth Season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone has arrived with a bang, and hints towards the next game have already been discovered by gamers.

Verdansk’s Stadium has had its roof blown up, giving players a new area to get creative and tactical in, but that’s not all the Stadium provides.
Players have quickly discovered that a number of locked doors within the Stadium can be opened with keycards. In the video below, you can see CoD gamer SallyIsADog scoop a couple from a pile of loot.
Accessing one of the locked rooms reveals a computer which shows what appears to be a string of random numbers and glyphs. It’s not all too clear what exactly the meaning of this is, but it’s almost definitely a hint towards the future of Call of Duty.

Some players have reportedly come across a message in Russian, which translates to “reset code.” This suggests that the inaccessible bunkers of Verdansk might play a role in this mystery, though the “code” might also mean the string of numbers found on the computer.

We’re expecting Warzone and Modern Warfare’s story to align with what’s coming in the next CoD game. We usually see CoD main game releases anytime from October onwards, so the fact we’re yet to see even an announcement trailer for CoD 2020 is very strange.

Let’s hope Activision is working hard behind the scenes on this reveal, as the leaks are already coming thick and fast for the unrevealed game! Allegedly called “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,” we’ve already seen a leaked snipped of gameplay, supposed map and weapon reveals, and even a Microsoft store listing. There was even a leak from Doritos, which could make the game the worst-kept secret of 2020. Just announce it already!
