After Fortnite added a huge Black Panther monument to the game a few days ago, players have been using it to pay tribute to Chadwick Boseman.
The actor, who tragically passed away over the weekend following a four-year battle with colon cancer, received critical acclaim for his portrayal of the iconic comic book character.
Despite the statue actually being planned before his passing, players have been using it to remember the beloved actor.

For anyone looking to find the monument for themselves, it’s on top of a hill to the west of Misty Meadows.
Upon the addition of the statue, Epic Games said: “As with the rest of the world, we were greatly saddened to learn of the passing of actor, Chadwick Boseman,”
“The Black Panther monument arrived this morning as part of a previously-planned narrative for the new Chapter 2 – Season 4 season.”
There’s a pretty good chance that a Black Panther skin could also be on the way, Fortnite leaker HYPEX shared potential details on what that may entail.

A lot of people are suggesting that if a skin does arrive, any proceeds should be given to charity which could be a nice touch.
