To celebrate Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swinging into cinemas this June, Fortnite are welcoming some of its cast to the battle-royale.
The Oscar-winning animated superhero movie will be getting its sequel on June 2. To celebrate the highly-anticipated movie, Fortnite has revealed they will be welcoming Miles Morales and Miguel O’Hara (Spider-Man 2099) to its roster tomorrow.
Fortnite x Spider-Man Crossover
The news was announced courtesy of a short video posted to the official Fortnite Twitter account. It shows Miles’ Spider-Man crashing through a skyscraper and swinging off into the distance. The camera then pans to his exit, showing Miguel stood overlooking the city.
Miguel was first teased during a post-credit scene to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Although we have yet to see him in action, we guess he will be a major antagonist for Miles in the upcoming sequel.
“It’s Miles!! And he brought… a friend? Spider-Senses say you’ll want to stick around for tomorrow’s update!” The announcement reads.
Ready for June
Thanks to Fortnite, those waiting for June 2 will have something to pass the time. Starring Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld and Jake Johnson reprising their roles as Miles Morales, Gwen Stacey and Peter B. Parker, it is set to be a thrilling sequel.
Not only that, but a second sequel will be released on March 29 2024. Titled Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, this will continue the story of the Spider-Man multiverse.

As for Fortnite, we will be getting more details on this web-slinging crossover tomorrow. This could include news about any cosmetics and items we can expect, as well as any related quests. We will be sure to update you when we learn more.
