The current season of Fortnite is almost over and Epic Games have dropped some information about what will be available to be unlocked in the next season. Some of us may still be grinding to that level 100 to unlock all of this seasons content but sadly this season will be coming to a close very shortly. There will be a few changes to how the tiered system works in season 3 which will hopefully make it easier for players to climb the ranks.
New additions to Battle Pass System
Weekly Challenges
These weekly challenges are replacing daily challenges. Weekly Challenges will be able to stack and can be completed any time before the season ends. This is better than the current system as you can only have 3 challenges at a time and if you don’t have time to play regularly during the week you could be missing out on huge amounts of exp and battle pass points!
New Battle Bundle
Very simply put this is now just a Battle Pass + 25 Tiers (2800 V-Bucks). Nice and easy.
Battle Pass
If you buy the Battle Pass at the start of season 3 you will instantly unlock a bunch of in game items including the space suit outfit that was teased a couple of weeks ago.
Here are some other new potential items being added including the spacesuit outfit:
More Loot for Tiers 70 – 100
Just like last season for the first 70 tiers in the battle pass you get 70 items – 1 item per tier. But now from 71-100 you will get more loot. Though Epic Games have not disclosed what these things will be we hope that it will be easy to make it to the higher tiers to be able to unlock these seemingly top quality items.
Party up
There will also be an easier way to party up with your friends added into Fortnite. Although this is going to be added to the PC version of the game only for now we assume ti will also make its way onto consoles at some point in the near future.
