Free Mod Reimagines Skyrim With Over 30 Hours Of Original Content

Skyrim is undeniably one of the greatest games of all time, and despite being nearly a decade old, it’s being kept as fresh and as fun as ever thanks to the thousands of community-made mods available online.

Whether you want to add Thomas the Tank Engine into Skyrim, or if you want all your characters to be completely naked, you can bet there’s a mod for that. And now, you can turn Skyrim into a completely different game thanks to Enderal: Forgotten Stories.

Developed with love by SureAI, the game description reads: “Enderal: Forgotten Stories is a total conversion mod for Skyrim that is set in its own world with its own landscape, lore and story. It offers an immersive open world, all for the player to explore, overhauled skill systems and gameplay mechanics and a dark, psychological storyline with believable characters.”

The mod is now available to download on Steam, where it’s amassed hundreds of positive reviews and has even been heralded as better than Skyrim itself.

One Steam one fan writes: “When comparing [Enderal] to Skyrim , for us it’s a much better game. First of all, its leveling system is based more on traditional RPGs. Also, it’s a world that has some unique lore that immerses you in the story. There are no pointless places like you have in Skyrim with lore that has no effect on the story…

“As for the main quest it alone should take about 30hrs to complete. If you plan on doing side quests you can get well over 100hrs with this game.”

Another Steam player dubbed it: “Skyrim 2: Free and Better edition.”
