Unfortunately there’s no dinosaurs, which is more than a little upsetting. But that’s what we have imaginations for, right?

During an investor meeting last year, a representative for Capcom was asked what the company was planning for the future, with Capcom responding: “Regarding remakes and rereleases of titles in our back catalog, we expect to explore these further with a variety of properties as a part of our strategy to utilize our library of IP.”

Dino Crisis is one of Capcom’s most beloved franchises, and fans have been begging for a remaster or remake for years now, making it a likely choice for the next IP resurrection.

Dino Crisis remaster is getting a lot of attention on Twitter, as fans cry out for the dino-shooting game to make a comeback, and even speculating that Capcom’s recent statement could mean one is one the way.

“Please do a remaster of Dino Crisis 1&2! Also a proper new sequel would bring a whole new generation of fans! Seriously, all of us who started with the RE games [love] Dino Crisis!!!” begged one Twitter user.
