A Fornite fan has reimagined the iconic Parks and Rec opening in the world of Fortnite.

Gamer Reimagines Parks And Recreation Opening In Fortnite And It’s Excellent

Fortnite has recently allowed players to get a lot more creative in their games, with the introduction of modes like Playground, which is designed to release your inner child and encourage exploration, crafting, faux battles between friends and more.

Of course with such free reign in the game, users have been making the most of their creative talents, and one of the most popular fan videos making the rounds on Reddit right now is an homage to Parks and Recreation.

A Reddit user by the name of Protomahawks recently uploaded a reimagining of the Parks and Recreation opening credits – completely made in Fortnite! Replying to one of the many comments the video has received so far, Protomahawks explained just how long the clip took to create.

“A lot longer than I thought it would,” Protomahawks writes. “My program failed three quarters the way through so I had to re do it.

“I had all the clips all ready but putting them together is what took the time…Took about 12 hours to plan, record, edit and re edit due to malfunction.”

Seems like the time and effort was worth it though, and Parks and Rec fans are loving the final product.

According to reports from data miners, it looks like a new weapon has been found hidden away in the data – and it’s a Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle!

The description for the supposed new weapon reads: “Sniper Rifle: Heavy. Powerful and accurate rifle with a bolt-action mechanism with an extremely slow reload.

“Shots pierce through the first wall it hits.”

Being a sniper rifle, the gun will take Heavy Bullets, and it’s apparently a Legendary variant, but Epic has yet to confirm the weapon’s addition to the game.
