Video games personality Geoff Keighley has revealed that The Game Awards is set to take place later this year – despite fears of its cancellation due to the global pandemic.
Taking to Twitter with the big reveal, Keighley confirmed that The Game Awards 2020 will be taking place on Thursday, December 10. This time around, the show will be broadcast live from across the world, with Los Angeles, London and Tokyo taking part.
2020 has brought us lots of fantastic games including Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2, shooters like Riot Games’ Valorant and even seen games like Epic Games’ Fortnite (finally) leave Early Access.
We don’t know who’s nominated for what yet, but we’re sure to have another excellent show on the cards!
