This God of War Ragnarok PS1 demake is better than the real thing. Yes, really and you can’t change our minds!
The God of War Ragnarok PS1 demake is created by Jackarte and an awesome 30-second trailer was uploaded to their YouTube Channel. The trailer provides a godly amount of 90s nostalgia infused with the real voice actors of the game as well as its epic soundtrack.
The trailer is filled with PS1 nostalgic joy!
During the trailer, we see Kratos and Atreus on a sledge pulled by Sköll and Hati, before encountering the stumpy-fisted Odin, Thor and Týr. If only such a game existed back in the original PlayStation era.
I almost want to play this version more than its real counterpart on PlayStation 5 as well as PlayStation 4. Sadly, however, this build of the game is not playable.
We reviewed God of War Ragnarok!
In our review of God of War Ragnarok, we said it’s: “everything you loved about the previous title, but amplified. The longer story and expanded worlds give way for characters to develop in meaningful ways, making the whole game feel very much like a sequel worthy of its predecessor.”
In related news, at launch, some fans were getting copies of the God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition as well as the Jotnar Edition with no actual copy of the game. Yikes!
However, in much more positive news, along with Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West, Kratos and Atreus have dominated The Game Award 2022 nominations.
