Halo Infinite Campaign Co-Op Release Date Finally Announced

After months of waiting since the launch of Halo Infinite, a roadmap for the rest of 2022 has revealed when we can expect campaign co-op.

If a Halo game doesn’t have campaign co-op, is it really a Halo game at all? Yes, technically, but it doesn’t feel quite right. Unfortunately, Halo Infinite didn’t launch with campaign co-op, due to a number of development issues. Fans have been waiting for a while now, with further delays across the months. But now 343 Industries has provided a roadmap for 2022, and has confirmed that Halo Infinite will be getting campaign co-op some time in late August.

It is important to note that in the roadmap, the August release date is just a target. So there’s not a 100% guarantee it will be released then. While fans might be frustrated by another delay, if the devs get the time they need then that’s the important thing.

The next big update on the way for Halo Infinite is season two of the online, dubbed Lone Wolves. That’ll be launching on May 3, and it’s bringing with it a number of new maps on modes. The mode King of the Hill makes its return to Halo, and a new survival mode called Last Spartan Standing joins the series this season. In this new mode, 12 players spawn on Big Team Battle maps with a limited loadout and five respawns. Once you run out of lives, that’s it, and you’re out.
