343 Industries has delayed the update on the Halo Infinite co-op and Forge modes. However, it’s not a content update, but an update on the content update.
Yeah, so if you were hoping to know when the co-op campaign and the creative Forge mode will arrive in Halo Infinite, we’ll be waiting longer for an update on the update.
An update on the update for the update was provided by the Head of Creative at 343 Industries, Joseph Staten.
“Hey folks. In November, I said we’d have a Halo Infinite update on our Seasonal roadmap, Co-Op and Forge in January,” tweeted Staten. “We need more time to finalize our plans so what we share is something you can rely on. This work is my top priority, and we’ll have an update as soon as we can.”
Prior to the release of Halo Infinite, it was announced that it would launch without a co-op campaign as well as Forge mode. This was disappointing to many fans and it was hoped that by at least February, both modes would finally be implemented. Sadly, that seems like it might not be the case.
When will co-op and Forge mode arrive?
At this stage, not even Master Chief would know the answer. Hopefully, we won’t be waiting much longer, because I want to play co-op with my son. I guess we’ll just have to wait for a new update on the upcoming update.
In our review of Halo Infinite, we said: “Halo Infinite campaign certainly had dull points. However, sheer thrill shines through at several points, proving that there’s still life in this 20-year-old franchise. It’s now up to 343 Industries to keep it that way.”
