Halo Infinite Reportedly Does Not Include Full Game On Disc

According to Digital Foundry, it has been reported that Halo Infinite does not include the full game on the retail disc.

The claims come from Digital Foundry’s John Linneman during an exchange with a follower on Twitter. Linneman claims that if Halo Infinite is installed from the disc offline you will be told that its installation is incomplete.

For physical copies, is the release also planned for the 8th like digital since the full game isn’t in the disc?” asked a follower. Then Linneman replied:

Linneman also expressed his concerns about the preservation of physical media. Despite the rise of digital sales, there are still plenty of gamers that love to collect physical content. So, it’s not very comforting to think that a physical disc will not include the full game if you don’t have an internet connection.

This is bad for long-term preservation, I feel. MOST games ship in good shape even without patches,” exclaimed the tech expert.
