Hell Based Horror Game ‘Agony’ Finally Gets Released Next Month

Announced via a Kickstarter campaign back in November 2016, by all accounts the hell-based survival horror title known as Agony should have released long before now. Sadly, this potential indie darling title has suffered numerous delays, some of which very close to previous scheduled release dates.

It did get a little concerning (excuse the forthcoming pun) as some feared that the game may have entered the dreaded developmental hell, lost in limbo.

However, Agony has had a new release date announced and it looks to finally be arriving to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month on May 29th. Hopefully this will be the final release date and developers Madmind Studios can now aim for that final push to the big day.
Agony will see players explore the demonic corners of a labyrinth hell in what looks to be one of the most disturbing horror titles in recent times, as they discover the truth behind an entity known as the Red Goddess, all while fighting to survive against nightmarish creatures out to torture your very soul. Agony will not only feature a “full-fledged” story campaign, but also an open-challenge system that randomly generates levels for players to take on to acquire high scores on the leaderboard.

Agony has been a long-time coming and we can’t wait to play it. Are you looking forward to playing this potential survival horror hit? Let us know across our social media channels. Also before you go, be sure to check out the latest gameplay trailer for Agony below.
