Hello Neighbor 2 has been delayed to some time in 2022, with pre-orders for the game opening in April.
tinyBuild, publisher of the game, says that from April 7 you will be able to pre-order the game. Hello Neighbor 2 did not have a set release date. Until the announcement the release window was 2021.
tinyBuild has said that those that pre-order the game will get access to an exclusive beta of the game. The beta will let you explore a good chunk of the game’s fictional town Raven Brooks. tinyBuild also shared a new trailer showing off more of the game in action.
“In this game, you’ll be playing as Quentin – a journalist investigating a series of missing person cases in the open world of Raven Brooks,” a narrator explains in the trailer. “Create your own adventure as you interact with a host of new characters and take on the infamous Mr. Peterson – a suspect who has been hiding from the police and is now designed with a neural network. But trust no one, everyone’s a suspect.”
The trailer shows off a variety of new features and characters to the game. You’ll be able to distract a dog with a policeman’s doughnut. And you’ll be able to pick up a rifle used by one of the new characters, an older taxidermist. Pre-orders opening in April 2022 implies the game will be ready to ship next year. So it won’t be long until it’s time to uncover the mystery in Raven Brooks.
