Earlier this year the world was treated to the official reveal of Gummy Cat’s upcoming management sim, Bear & Breakfast.

Bear & Breakfast, which is due to launch next year, will see you play as Frank, a bear on a mission to run a successful bed and breakfast for tourists. With its charming design and whimsical plot, it’s no wonder that Bear & Breakfast already has a solid following, even the year before release.

The game’s official description explains more about what we’ll be seeing from the game.
“Join Hank, a well-meaning bear, as he and his friends find an abandoned shack and turn it into a money-making bed and breakfast scheme for unsuspecting tourists,” says Nintendo. “As your business expands so do the mysteries of the forest, and Hank soon finds himself uncovering a plot deeper than the wilderness itself.”
Bear & Breakfast is set to add a cute and unique spin to the management genre, giving you the ability to run your (or Frank’s) perfect bed and breakfast to keep the tourists coming. Set in a beautifully unique forest and sporting some of the loveliest 2D graphics we’ve seen, Bear & Breakfast is a sure-fire winner.

The game’s features include the following:
- Build and personalize your inn with dozens of guest rooms, bathrooms, parlors, and entertainment.
- Each room can be individually customized completely from furniture to fixtures.
- Bring guests into the forest to stay at your inn. Keep ’em happy to maintain your reputation, earn money and attract new customers!
- Complete quests and story lines to collect new items and perks for your inn.
- Uncover a world rich in lore, side quests, characters, and secrets.
