The fairy-type Eeveelution has been a part of Pokémon Go for over a year, but how to get the adorable Pocket Monster is still a highly sought topic. That’s especially if you’re trying to evolve your Eevees into more than one. Here are both methods in how to get Sylveon Pokémon Go.
How to Get Sylveon in Pokemon Go – Name Method
This method can be only be used once, but it’s by far the easiest way to get Sylveon in Pokémon Go. All you have to do is change your Eevee’s name to “Kira”. Then, if you also have the 25 Eevee candies needed, Sylveon’s silhouette should appear on the Evolve option.
If Sylveon’s silhouette does not appear, absolutely do not select the Evolve option. Why the silhouette might not appear could be down to a couple of reasons: one being that you’ve mistakenly entered the nickname correctly, or you’ve already used this method without remembering.
How to Get Sylveon in Pokemon Go – Buddy Method
The Buddy Method is mainly for those who’ve already used the Name Method, but want a second Sylveon and beyond. This will take a greater amount of time to achieve, but the steps are almost as simple:
- Make your selected Eevee your buddy.
- Earn 70 hearts with said Eevee as your buddy. These are earnt through activities like by feeding, playing, walking, and battling with it.
- The Sylveon silhouette should then appear on the Evolve option, with 25 Eevee candies again as the cost.
