If you’ve picked up Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut you’re probably eager to jump back into the game. If you’ve already played through it before though you’re probably keen to get straight to the new content. How do you do it though? Do you need a new game+? Can you get there from the start? Well. We’re here to help give you all the info you need to make sure you can get there.
When booting up the game you should get a prompt about the new content. If for whatever reason it isn’t there or you miss it here’s what you need to know.
How To Access Iki Island
You don’t need to have completed the game to access Iki Island but you do need to make sure that you’ve unlocked Act 2 of Tsushima. This is the Toyotama Region.
Once you get there, or if you’re already past that point, you can head to your journal in the pause menu. You can then find the quest to kick it all off by going to Tales of Iki and selecting Journey into the Past. The guiding wind will guide you to where you need to be. It is not a difficult journey and you can get there right at the start of Act 2 if you feel like jumping right in.
Complete the mission there and talk to an NPC nearby to start your journey to Iki Island.
What should you do when you get there? That’s completely up to you. Some things will be obvious but you should definitely take the time to explore.
