If you’re like me and you love, love, LOVED Detective Pikachu then you’ll be pleased to hear that one of the movie’s most iconic moments has forever been immortalised in plush form.
The live-action Pokemon movie made full use of Detective Pikachu’s soft, squishy and oh-so-expressive face, which just made everything a lot more heartbreaking in the scene where a dejected Pikachu is walking along the highway singing the theme tune from the anime. (Don’t worry, there’s no movie spoilers here!)
However sad that moment may be, it can now be something you’ll remember for the rest of your days thanks to The Pokemon Company.
The Pokemon Company will be releasing the very sad Pikachu for every fanatic’s collection, though we’re yet to hear when it’ll become available for sale.

Speaking of traumatising Pikachu plushes, one recently went viral thanks to its ‘horrifying’ packaging.
Twitter user/Pokemon fan @bauerpower uploaded the following image to the platform, writing: “So, I ordered a Detective Pikachu plush for my desk at work, and I have to say, this is not how I expected him to be packaged.”

Poor lil guy!
Heralded as one of the ‘only’ good video game movies, Detective Pikachu smashed records at the box office and impressed critics across the board when it released earlier this year.
Detective Pikachu is available on DVD and Blu-Ray from August 6, 2019, but UK residents will have to wait until September to relive one of the best movies of the year. (Boo!)
