Industry Insider Teases Potential Fable 4 Announcement

Fable 4 is a game we’re really hoping is still happening, despite Microsoft and Xbox staying fairly quiet on the matter. It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything on the supposed next addition to the lucrative and beloved franchise, but that silence could be about to break according to one industry insider.

As shared to Reddit, Twitter’s Shinobi602, a reliable source from the world of video games, has teased that Xbox is planning something big.

Over on ResetERA, Shinobi responded to a gamers’ request for insider knowledge, writing: “It’s not my place to give details, and my username would be plastered on sites come morning if I did lol. So I won’t. But you won’t have to wait too much longer, really. I’m incredibly excited at what’s coming from Xbox.”

Getting a little bit more in-depth, he added that Xbox fans can expect “Gorgeous fantasy worlds, reboots, big sci-fi…Should be a lot of fun.”

Of course, “gorgeous fantasy worlds” and “Xbox” really only point to one thing at this point: Fable 4. It could be a bit of a stretch, but considering Fable 4 rumours have been swirling around since late last year, it would make a lot of sense.

So when can we expect to see these “fantasy worlds and reboots”? Well, according to IGN, we could be seeing them as soon as Monday, April 13.

During an episode of IGN Unlocked, host Miranda Sanchez, said the following: “Next week I have a very very very exciting piece on Monday, so please stay tuned for that. It would be very relevant to Xbox audiences.”

Whether or not these two statements are related remains to be seen, but colour me excited either way!
