It Seems That Cyberpunk 2077’s Cut-Scenes Will Be in First-Person

Following on from the continued success CD Projekt Red’s fantastic The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, fans are rightfully excited for the next project from the talented studio, Cyberpunk 2077.  However, unlike The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 will be a game primarily played in a first-person perspective.

We’ve seen plenty of fantastic gameplay footage of the highly anticipated game so far and some of the earlier footage has shown its cut-scenes from a third-person perspective, so it may come as a surprise to some that the games cut-scenes will now in-fact be in first-person.

Following an interview with German publication Night City Life, a fan took to Twitter to ask the official Cyberpunk 2077 account if the games cut-scenes will be in first-person, for which they replied “In Cyberpunk 2077, immersion is very important to us, so yes, cut-scenes are FPP”.  Which by the way, as confirmed by the same Twitter account, so are the sex scenes.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia on April 16th, 2020 with the expectation that it may also release for next-gen systems too. Would you prefer the games cut-scenes to be in first-person or third-person?  Or perhaps even the choice of them both?  Let us know across our social media channels.
