Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 – Remastered is out today, marking one of the most anticipated releases in a while, especially for the generation who grew up with the games.
Now we’ve found out that rumours of Jack Black being a playable character in the game, are in fact true…Sort of.
While he doesn’t technically appear as himself, his voice, face and general look have been used to bring the classic skater Officer Dick, who has appeared in all the previous games, to life.
As GameSpot reports, you need to complete all 24 custom skater challenges, which are the unique challenges specific to a skater you’ve created yourself.
The addition isn’t a huge surprise, rumours have been doing the rounds for some time. Plus there was this great, incredibly wholesome video of the Tenacious D man and Tony Hawk playing a sample of the game together.
So far the remaster has received overwhelmingly positive feedback, which is great considering the bar had been set incredibly high by the originals.
