Jacksepticeye Raises Over $100,000 For Children’s Hospital In Just 3 Hours

YouTubers don’t always have the best name thanks to the odd few (hundred) of them who like to stir up controversy, but sometimes we really do see YouTubers hit the headlines for a good reason.

In an incredibly impressive use of his platform, Jacksepticeye – with the help of his fans – has raised a whopping $100,678.61 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The massive feat was accomplished in just three and a half hours and was donated by viewers of Jacksepticeye’s Fortnite ‘August Charity Stream PMA.’

Taking to Twitter to celebrate the monumental charity donation, Jack wrote: “I am absolutely blown away! All it took was 3.5 hours and you guys helped raised [sic] over $100,000 for a very good cause!

“I could not be more proud, thank you all SO much!!”

In a separate post, Jack also gave a special shout-out to anyone who’d donated over $1,000, which definitely looked like a lot of people!

Fans responded with just as much enthusiasm as the YouTuber himself, with one tweeting: “The fact that we reached and crushed this goal for this charity in particular brings me so much joy because, this is not only incredible, it’s literally changing and saving lives.

“I could not be any prouder of this community for what we’ve done today. PMA for the win! ?”

The St Jude Children’s Research Hospital aims to provide the best healthcare for children diagnosed with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The hospital is almost entirely funded by individual contributions, and they work to ensure that families “never receive a bill” for any treatment.

The $100k donation from Jacksepticeye and his fans should go a long way with supporting St Jude’s and their causes.
