John Wick & Other Lionsgate Movies Stream For Free Starting This Week

More and more companies are offering their wares for free in an effort to keep people entertained during the global lockdown. While games companies are doing their bit to keep people safe inside, Lionsgate and YouTube have decided to up the ante – by offering a range of classic movies you can stream for free!

As reported by THR, Lionsgate Live! A Night at the Movies, aims to bring the cinema experience to your home with the following movies available to watch on livestream. It’ll be exactly like the cinema…ish?

  • April 24 – Dirty Dancing
  • May 1 – La La Land
  • May 8 – John Wick

It’s all for a good cause too, as the event is in aid of Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation. The Foundation aims to support those in the movie industry.

If that wasn’t enough free stuff, Sony is also offering up two free PlayStation games: Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

Sharing the news to the official PlayStation blog, Sony explains how the company is working to thank those who are practising social distancing and staying at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Play At Home has two components: first, providing free games to help keep the PlayStation community entertained at home; and finally, establishing a fund to help smaller independent game studios who may be experiencing financial difficulties continue building great experiences for all gamers,” explains Sony.

“To support Play At Home, PlayStation will try to make those occasionally dull moments more exciting by offering Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey available for free* for a limited time through digital downloads from April 15 at 8pm PDT through May 5, 2020 at 8pm PDT Once you redeem the games, they are yours to keep.”
