Keanu Reeves, Hollywood hero and star of the forthcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077, has reportedly already played the game and “loves it.”
The star’s “review” of the game comes from CD Projekt Red president and CEO Adam Kiciński, who revealed the news when speaking during an earnings call this week.

Transcribed by Seeking Alpha, Kiciński told investors that Keanu Reeves has “played the game” but noted that, as far as he knows, Keanu “[hasn’t] finished yet.”
“Definitely, he played the game and he loves it,” said the CDPR chief.

To be honest I wouldn’t expect anything different to be said, but I have no doubt that Mr Reeves is enjoying the game, regardless of the role he plays in it.
Keanu Reeves, who gave us that brilliant “You’re Breathtaking” moment at E3 2019, will play “legendary rockerboy” Johnny Silverhand in the upcoming RPG.
Until recently we weren’t 100% sure as to the role that Johnny Silverhand will play in Cyberpunk 2077. However his part in the game was recently revealed thanks to a new gameplay video.
In a nutshell, Johnny Silverhand was killed by an evil corporation and for some reason his spirit (so to speak) had been contained in a biochip.
So when a job relating to the biochip goes wrong, the only way to safely secure the acquired item is to implant the chip into your playable character’s head.
This is when you are introduced to a very vengeful Johnny Silverhand, who wants revenge on those that killed him. I suppose in a way he’s kinda like Cortana from the Halo series.
Additionally in a recent behind-the-scenes video, Keanu Reeves spoke of what attracted him to the role of Johnny Silverhand.
“You get to play a character in so many different ways because of different paths or threads or choices, so you almost get to play one moment, say you have a decision, with three different behavioural attitudes, so that was fun,” said Reeves.
