Ember Lab has revealed that Kena: Bridge of Spirits will now release in September in a recent Twitter update.

Announced via the studio’s official Twitter account, the increased development time will help ensure “the best experience possible“:
“We have made the difficult decision to delay the release of Kena until September 21st to Polish the game across all platforms. The team has been working extremely hard and we feel the extra time is critical to ensure the best experience possible.
“We know many of you are eager to play and we appreciate your patience as the team continues to work on delivering the best version of Kena.
“Thank you for your amazing support”
Of course, if you’ve been following Kena’s development, you’ll know that this isn’t the first time the game’s been delayed. In fact, the game was originally meant to release in late 2020. As you’d perhaps expect, the game’s delayed development is a symptom of the ongoing pandemic, which has disrupted the games industry as a whole.
Let’s hope Kena: Bridge of Spirits remains on track for a September release. While Ember Lab has delayed the game multiple times, the fact that it’s now implementing polish to the game should incite confidence in eager fans.
