Hideo Kojima has seemingly responded to Normal Reedus confirming that Death Stranding 2 is currently in development.
Last week during an interview with Leo Edit, the star of The Walking Dead apparently confirmed that a sequel to Death Stranding is underway. “Okay, so you got the book going on, you’ve got the final season coming out, then the spinoff, and you’re filming Death Stranding, the video game,” said Reedus.
He continued: “We just started the second one [Death Stranding]. It took me maybe two or three years to finish all the Mocap sessions and everything.” Before adding “It takes a lot of work. And then the game came out, and it just won all these awards, and it was a huge thing, so we just started part two of that.”
…Lucille, meet Norman
In response to Reedus’ apparent slip-up, Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding developer Hideo Kojima tweeted cryptic images, in a not so subtle kind of way.
Kojima posted a few images on Twitter, one of which features him posing behind Reedus with Negan’s “Lucille” baseball bat, replicating that infamous scene from The Walking Dead season 10.
Without saying so outright, I think Hideo Kojima is letting us all know that Norman Reedus is perhaps being sent into the naughty corner.
