EDIT: Since the time of writing, the skin has been confirmed by Ninja, who shared the image and added: “I’ve dreamt of having a skin in Fortnite since I started playing the game. Today, my dream becomes reality. Get the Ninja Fortnite Skin in the Epic store Thursday 6 p.m. CST-Sunday 7 p.m. Don’t forget to use code NINJA!”
Tyler Blevins, best known by his online persona Ninja, has finally hit the lofty heights of Fortnite superstardom – by getting his own skin added into the battle royale behemoth.
The skin has been making the rounds on social media and was uncovered by Fortnite data miner and Twitter user, ShiinaBR.
The gamer shared an image of the upcoming Ninja-themed skin with the caption: “Ninja now has his own Fortnite Skin!!”
To be fair…it’s actually a very cool look, and as you can see from the text at the bottom of the image, it’s coming to Fortnite in Chapter 2 of Season 1. It’s likely to be a sure-fire hit for even those who dislike the controversial streamer, because this is one of the nicest-looking cosmetics we’ve seen.
Ninja has been asking to get a skin of himself in the game for years now, and considering just how closely the pro gamer and the Epic Games game are interlinked, it’s surprising how long it’s taken for the skin to become a reality.
Of course, the official news has yet to be announced by either Epic Games or Ninja, but now that the cat’s out of the bag it’s surely just a matter of time.
The Fortnite gamer recently teamed up with the one and only Luke Skywalker, a.k.a Mark Hamill, to play the game as part of a promotion for the latest Star Wars movie.

Personally I would have liked to have seen this happen with Ninja playing in his own Fortnite skin, but what can you do.
There’s no solid release date for Season One’s Chapter 2, but it’s safe to say we can expect this skin in the game sooner rather than later. Let’s just hope it’s not a super rare – or super expensive! – cosmetic.
