Leaker Says Call Of Duty 2020’s Reveal Has Been Delayed

We’ve heard a lot of rumours surrounding the next addition to the Call of Duty franchise, and we’ve all been hoping for the official reveal sometime in the coming weeks. However, we might have to wait even longer if one new leak is to be believed.

The annual Call of Duty games usually release pretty late on in the year, with the official reveal announcement usually hitting the internet in early summer. By that standard, we should be seeing CoD 2020 pretty soon. However, CoD leaker Tom Henderson thinks otherwise.

The known leaker, who’s been a fairly accurate source in the past, recently took to Twitter to share their belief that the next CoD won’t be revealed until as late on as August.

Henderson tweeted: “Continuing with the bad news. I also got word that the next CoD reveal might be pushed back into August.”

Of course there’s no way we can prove this leak is correct, so take it with a pinch of salt for now.

Considering how thick and fast the leaks have been coming for this game, I was expected a reveal sooner rather than later. If this turns out to be true, I’ll definitely be disappointed.

That being said, Modern Warfare and the free-to-play Battle Royale, Warzone, are continuing to bring in the big money for Activision, so there’s really no rush to begin the hype train for CoD 2020.

Leaks have reportedly revealed that the upcoming new game will be Call of Duty: Blacks Ops Cold War. It’s also been claimed that the new Black Ops will bring back Blackout mode, the Battle Royale bonanza which was first made popular in Black Ops 4.

Again, nothing has been confirmed, so we’ll just have to see on that one.
