We all know that 2020 has been a blinding year for Activision and Infinity Ward thanks to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its free-to-play Battle Royale counterpart, Warzone. However, the CoD franchise has been bringing home the bacon since way back when, and it’s now one of the most lucrative franchises of all time.

Thanks to SlottyVegas, we now have an idea of just how much the Call of Duty series and all its games brings in each day, and it’s a staggering amount.
Using data from Nielsen Super Data, Esports Earnings, Forbes, and Social Blade, SlottyVegas has revealed what they believe to be some fairly accurate estimates on the cash flow of the games.

“We can exclusively reveal that Call Of Duty is making a staggering £2.4 million per day from physical purchases and online transactions,” the company said in a press release.
“That’s just over £1,600 per minute. During the past 80 days of lockdown, Call Of Duty has earned £194,204,059.15, helped in large part by its Battle Royale offshoot, Warzone.”
For those across the pond, that works out at roughly $1,998 USD PER MINUTE, which is just mind blowing.

With another Call of Duty game expected to be revealed anytime in the coming weeks, plus the continuation of Season Four of Modern Warfare and Warzone, it seems there’s just no stopped the franchise.
Potential spoilers for CoD 2020 below!
Speaking of, Call of Duty 2020 has yet to be formally revealed by Activision, yet the leaks are seemingly coming thick and fast. We’ve already seen an (alleged) snippet of gameplay from the unreleased title, and now it looks like we’ve gotten more info on the maps, weapons, Killstreaks and more.

It’s not too clear whether or not Killstreaks will be back in the game, or if they’ll be replaced with scorestreaks. However, they’re being reported as follows: RC-XD, Chopper Gunner, Napalm Strike, Flamethrower, Artillery Strike, UAV, Counter UAV, Bomber Plane and Attack Dogs.
The leaks claim maps will be as follows: Nuketown, Firing Range, Summit, Junktown, “Huge Ground War ice map,” “6v6 Russian city map with clustered design,” “6v6 map featuring an open field, warehouse, and a river split into three lanes.”
