Update 12/08/21: As promised, Square Enix has released the trailer for Life is Strange: Wavelengths DLC.
Original article: Square Enix has announced that Life is Strange Remastered Collection has been delayed into 2022. However, it’s not all bad news.
The news of the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection being delayed was announced on social media. The Remastered Collection will now launch early next year for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
“Due to the ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic, we want to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life is Strange team by giving more time between the release of Life is Strange: True Colors and the Life is Strange Remastered Collection,” reads a tweet from the development team.

Not even Max could see this delay coming!

However, in the same tweet, the release date for Life is Strange: Wavelengths was announced. “After Life is Strange: True Colors releases on September 10, we’re happy to announce that the Life is Strange: Wavelengths DLC, starring Steph Gingrich, will release on September 30.”
So, in a nutshell, Life is Strange: Remastered Collection has been delayed and the Wavelengths DLC starring fan-favourite Steph has taken its place. A trailer will also be released later today for Wavelengths.
A follow-up tweet also clarified that Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition still includes the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection. You will just have to wait a little longer to get it.
The Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition still grants entitlement to the two Life is Strange Remastered Collection games, which will now be available on their new release date in early 2022.
