Square Enix has announced the new release date for Life is Strange Remastered Collection, and it will now launch this coming February.
The Remastered Collection was supposed to launch on September 30th, the same month as True Colors. Sadly the decision was made by Square Enix to push the Remastered Collection back with a tentative 2022 window.
The release date for Wavelengths DLC was announced
However, in place of Life is Strange: Remastered Collection, the True Colors DLC “Wavelengths” starring series favourite Steph Gingrich would now release on September 30th.
Thankfully, Square Enix has now revealed that the new release date for Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is February 1st, 2022. It will launch for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, as well as Google Stadia.
The Life is Strange: Remastered Collection features:
- Remastered character and environment visuals
- New engine and lighting upgrades
- Brand new, fully motion-captured facial animation in Life is Strange
- Before the Storm includes Deluxe content (outfits, ‘Farewell’ episode, Zombie Crypt outfit)

In related Life is Strange goodness, in our Life is Strange: True Colors review, we said it’s: “a glimmering, supernatural journey that reminds you life really is… weird.”
