Life is Strange: True Colors has won the ‘Outstanding Video Game’ at the GLAAD Media Awards 2022, fighting off some fierce competition.
As reported by Gayming.com, Life Is Strange: True Colors beat the likes of Far Cry 6, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Psychonauts 2, Unpacking and more. So this award has been well-earned, to say the least.
Developed by Deck Nine and published by Square Enix, True Colors tells the story of Alex Chen. Finding her way in life, Alex moves to a cute little town called Haven, located in the mountains of Colorado.
True Colors is a rollercoaster of emotions
After finding her long lost brother, Gabe, tragedy strikes, and Alex’s life is turned upside down. Alex suspects that not all is right in this seemingly perfect little town and she can only rely on her two best friends, Stef and Ryan.
Without giving much more away, True Colors is a heart-warming, rollercoaster ride of emotions. If you’ve not checked it out yet, it certainly has our recommendation.

In our review of Life is Strange: True Colors, we said: “Alex’s story is a colourful tapestry, stitched together with the gossamer thread of what it means to be human. It’s a glimmering, supernatural journey that reminds your life really is… weird.”
