With Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 just over a month away, new details are coming forward including the news we can bump into another Spider-Man.
The highly-anticipated sequel is set to launch just next month and fans are eagerly anticipating the chance to swing through the streets of New York again.
With the ability to switch effortlessly between Peter Parker and Miles Morales, associate animation director James Ham also revealed that they can also bump into each other throughout the city.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Will Allow You To Bump Into Other Spider-Man
This news comes courtesy of an interview between Ham and Gamertag Radio. As well as switching between the web-slinging pair “almost” instantaneously, you will be able to see them out and about whilst you’re not controlling them.
“There are times where you can be swinging throughout the city,” Ham revealed, “and you can see the other Spider-Man sometimes actively doing something or stopping a crime”.
Not only that but you can then choose to team up and join them AND if you are in the middle of something, the other Spider-Man can pop up and offer assistance too.
“It’s a cool experience to be able to play with both Peter and Miles in this way,” Ham said.
What Else To Expect
With Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 set to launch on October 20 to PlayStation 5, we are in the home stretch.
Not only that but ray-tracing will also be available for all graphical settings so we can expect a beautiful and immersive look at New York and surrounding boroughs.
