Speaking of the recent Super Mario movie announcement, a Metroid movie would be interesting,” suggested CNET. To which Sakamoto replied: “So, that is something very interesting. Personally, I hope that it does become a reality someday.

Back in 2018, it was revealed that the Super Mario movie was in the works from the creators of Despicable Me. After waiting more than three years, the cast of the Super Mario movie was finally announced. It has Chris Pratt voicing Mario, Anna Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach with Jack Black voicing Bowser, and Seth Rogan as Donkey Kong.

Could Samus get her own movie?

If the Super Mario movie proves to be a success, the chances of a Metroid movie would surely increase. However, there are some questions to be asked. For starters, would the Metroid movie be animated or live-action?

Furthermore, who would play Samus Aran? [Editor’s note: it has to be Elizabeth Debicki, right?]
